  1. talk about hand plane heaven. Love all those molding planes.

  2. Thanks!

  3. Not bad. I set up a french cleat system, but I’m not super happy with it.

  4. Nice Idea!
When I retired, the first thing I built was a wall cabinet for my hand
tools. I need to add more storage already as I keep picking up more old
tools. I have a video tour on you tube: Cip’s Tool Cabinet Tour
    Thanks, Cip Mendez

French cleats can look good. What aren’t you happy with?

  6. +Joshua Farnsworth
Stability mostly. They fall off too often when I’m getting a tool out of
    them.

  7. +Keith Peters Sorry…now commenting from my WoodAndShop account. Yea, I
guess I can see how frustrating it would be to have falling tools! Mine
isn’t as adjustable as french cleats, but I guess it’s pretty stable.

  8. Hey, nice video Cip!

  9. What about moisture? How do you keep your tools on the shelf without
    getting rust, other than oil?

  10. Thanks for this video. A great and simple method of hanging tools that I’ll
be making this weekend. So many other complicated methods have failed so
I’ll let you know what happens. Thanks again.

program, I kontagter you because I need your help to start my own studio

that you or some of your fans can help me with getting a repair shop up and
running, I can use all hand tools and the like used but not power tools,
since we have 220 volts in Denmark,

  14. +Keith Peters How about drilling a hole through the “board” and into the
wall-fixed cleat, and securing it with a decorative peg? This would resist
the upward movement for the board when removing a tool and the board would
still be easily removable with out tools for take down.
